Families Learn About Manoominike

Katie Schmitz, AICHO’s Children’s Program Coordinator, brought Gimaajii families out to Kettle Lake to the 1854 Treaty Authority and Fond du Lac’s 13 Moons Program to learn about Manoominike - Harvesting Wild Rice! Everyone got to fully experience all the steps in harvesting and finishing the rice. See the photos! What a great cultural teaching and experience!!!
