Shelter Resource Advocate | full-time

The Dabinoo'igan Shelter Resource Advocate collaborates with other professionals and agencies to ensure shelter residents receive comprehensive support and assistance. The Resource Advocate provides assistance in crisis situations, ensuring shelter residents receive immediate care and assistance. The Resource Advocate provides appropriate and accurate documentation of services and resources accessed and other data relevant to funding or shelter operations requirements.

Shelter Operations Coordinator | full-time

The role of the Dabinoo’igan Shelter Operations Coordinator is to manage the on-going needs and operations of the shelter. The Operations Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the Dabinoo’igan Shelter, a domestic violence emergency shelter, and works closely with the Shelter Director to coordinate and manage operations. The Operations Coordinator supports day-to-day activities, manage schedules, and ensure that resources are effectively secured and managed. ​

AICHO operates the Gimaajii Mino Bimaadizimin, a 29-units of permanent supportive housing.
