Growing Coordinator (Seasonal)
AICHO’s Food Sovereignty Program is looking for a garden assistant to assist the Growing Coordinator with tending to the rooftop garden and maintain the plants and medicines for Gimaajii tenants and the Giinawiind Youth Program. This position will be responsible for assisting planting, weeding, mulching, watering the rooftop gardens and helping harvest and collecting data for grant reporting. This position also requires assistance with the Giinawiind Youth Program attending local farmers markets, product making and programming throughout the summer.

Shelter Advocate | part-time
AICHO’s vision is to strengthen our communities by centering indigenous values in all aspects of our work. AICHO is expanding its staff and seeking Shelter Advocates for the Dabinoo’Igan Domestic Violence Shelter. The role of the Shelter Advocate would be to commit to providing culturally specific advocacy services at Dabinoo’Igan Shelter. This position would report directly to the Director of Shelter and Services.
