AICHO honored with a visit from Lt. Governor and Minnesota Housing Finance Agency Commissioner

AICHO had a great honor on December 19th with a visit from Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan and Minnesota Housing Finance Agency Commissioner Jennifer Leimaile Ho. AICHO community greeted them with our eagle staff present and offered a honor song from Devon Martin. We had a chance to introduce ourselves and speak about some of the great things happening at AICHO, including the new Dabinoo’igan Shelter, the ongoing COVID vaccine clinics, and the development of AICHO social enterprises, small businesses that generate revenue for community members and AICHO operations. Gimaajii families had a chance to meet with Lt. Governor Flanagan one to one and she took time to help make holiday cookies in the kitchen with the Gimaajii children’s program. Miigwech to Lt.
