Left: Jaron Larson, with Leadership Duluth AND National Bank of Commerce, presented AICHO with a $300.00 check from the National Bank of Commerce that will be used towards purchasing materials for garden beds for our Rooftop Garden! Right: Today at 4 pm, staff members from the Whole Foods Co-op stopped by AICHO to present their GIVE program’s BIG CHECK in a small ceremony. Katie Hanson, Ivy Vainio, Dr. Bob and Linda Powless, and some of the Gimaajii youth accepted the $5630.53 check on AICHO’s behalf. The monies raised is designated for the expansion of the Rooftop Garden. Chi miigwech to the the Whole Foods Coop staff and everyone who rounded up at the till. This was the largest amount raised with this program to date!
