AICHO Receives NB3 Foundation Community Action Grant

Through its national grantmaking program, the Notah Begay III (NB3) Foundation recently awarded nearly $400,000 to six tribal communities and Native-led organizations in Minnesota, Oregon and South Dakota to support their respective efforts is improving Native youth nutrition education, access to healthy foods and increased physical activity. AICHO will put their funding towards leading a community food sovereignty initiative to expand our urban garden program and begin development of social impact businesses that features indigenous foods.
